Chelsea fans heap praise on Kante for his humility

For the second season in three, numerous Chelsea players have dropped their level of performance substantially which has resulted in a putrid defence of the Premier League title.

That alarming slump will surely see Antonio Conte pay with his job in the summer – if not before – but there are clearly issues with the club as a whole for this to happen twice in such a short space of time.

One man who hasn’t let his standards slip is N’Golo Kante, who could arguably be deemed Chelsea’s only world-class player.

The dressing rooms both now and in the 2015/16 aberration under Jose Mourinho were full of big egos but the French holding midfielder is as humble as they come.

A photo has emerged of the former Leicester City man, who has 22 caps for France, shopping in Sainsbury’s, further underlining his humility and endearing himself to the Blues fans.
